Spectator/Player guidelines for games at Falmouth
by posted 05/05/2021

Below are the updated Spectator and Player Guidelines for the games at Falmouth this weekend.

  • Players have the option to not play with masks in the game.  They should put them on on the sidelines.
  • We're asking that coaches and refs wear masks.
  • We are asking that folks be judicious in inviting spectators but there is no longer a 1 player 1 spectator limit.
  • Spectators are not required to wear masks if they can maintain 6 feet of distance.
  • Spectators must watch from the perimeter of the field for social distancing.  All four teams will be in-between the two fields.

3/4 Boys Game Schedule
by posted 05/04/2021

After much anticipation, here is the 3/4 Boys game schedule for 2021.  I apologize for the delay but I only got final confirmation on games today.

In order to prepare for the first game, a few 5/6 coaches and a few players will be at practice on Friday.  Normally, 3/4 Boys will only play 1 team, but we have worked with Falmouth to play two teams this weekend so the boys can get more playing time.

"Two teams" that we will split the boys into Team Black or Team Red for Sat and they all get game time.  We will help with this at practice on Friday.  Good luck to our teams! - Marc

Updated mask guidelines
by posted 04/28/2021

Please note: Scarborough Youth Lacrosse will be following the Maine Principals Association's updated mask guidelines. See below for updated information...

High school athletes will no longer need to wear face coverings during outdoor competitions, the Maine Principals’ Association announced Wednesday.

The announcement comes a day after Gov. Janet Mills announced that masks are no longer mandated outdoors.

As part of the changes, the MPA announced that:

•  Masks are not required for outdoor practices and competitions.  Masks are recommended when 6 feet of physical distance is hard to maintain, such as for athletes on the bench. They are also required when individuals go inside to use locker rooms or restrooms, or when on a bus.

•  Spectators are not required to wear a mask at outside events if they are able to maintain 6 feet of distancing.
