Stephanie Messer
Head JV Coach




Stephanie Messer joined the girls' lacrosse coaching staff at Scarborough High School in the spring of 2003 and is now in her third season as the JV coach.

Messer graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She currently works for the Scarborough School Department at the Wentworth School as an Occupational Therapist for third, fourth, and fifth grade special education students.

While at Quinnipiac, Messer played Division I lacrosse all four seasons. She was a 4-time letter winner and was named Most Improved Player for the 1998-1999 season. During Quinnipiac's inaugural season in Division I, Messer helped lead the Braves to the Northeast Conference semi-final game. While at QU, Messer was on the Dean's list for seven semesters.

A 1996 graduate of Scarborough High School, Messer helped establish a girls' lacrosse program in 1995 and played on the first ever girls' lacrosse team at Scarborough that same year. In her senior year, Messer was chosen as captain of her team. She was also selected All-Conference in the spring of 1996 and represented Scarborough in the Senior All-Star game.

Messer also played soccer, basketball, and softball while at Scarborough.Messer currently resides in Westbrook and continues to play in the Women's Lacrosse League during the summer.
