Head Varsity Coach
Marcia Wood joined the girls' lacrosse coaching staff at Scarborough High School last year at the 8th grade and Junior Varsity level. She takes over this year as the Varsity coach.
Wood graduated from Plymouth State College in 2002 with a degree in education and a minor in coaching. She currently works for the Old Orchard School Department as a Title I teacher and English as a Second Language Teacher.
While at Plymouth, Wood played Division III field hockey for a season and lacrosse for 3 seasons. She helped Plymouth State to 2 conference championships and 2 NCAA tournament apperances.
A 1998 graduate of Sanford High School, Wood played both field hockey and lacrosse for 4 years and was captain of each. She helped the 1998 girls lacrosse team to their first ever championship.
Wood continues to play the sports she loves in adult pick up leagues throughout the year.
