Just Extended! More Lacrosse Spring Training -- Grades K-8
Join Coach St. Germain for an extension of the popular Learn to Lax series. The program surround players with the basics of lacrosse, enabling them to easily segue into the upcoming spring lacrosse season. Participants will have a blast while competing in various lacrosse games like storm lacrosse, chumash, ultimate, and more. Older and more skilled players will play in small-field lacrosse games. No equipment necessary for Grades K-4 players. Grades 5-8 girls require goggles and a stick. Grades 5-8 boys require a helmet, gloves, and a stick. Equipment available to borrow upon request.

Grades K-4: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Grades 5-8: 12:30 to 1:30 pm

$15 per child

Regular Registration:      February 1st - March 4th  (closes at midnight)
Extended registration:    March 4th- March 31st  (closes at midnight + costs $75 extra)
Registration:     February 1st - March 31st  (closes at midnight)
The 2020 season will run approximately from the beginning of April to late June, depending on field/space availability and game schedules.

COSTS for the 2020 SEASON

Grades K through 2  -  $85.00 per child

Grades 3 through 6  -  $135.00 per child  (plus $75,  if registering after March 4th)

Grades 7 and 8 boys  -  $160.00 per child  (plus $75,  if registering after March 4th)       

In addition, a $30.00 - US Lacrosse Membership is required to participate at every grade level


** Please note that 7th and 8th grade GIRLS play lacrosse through the Middle School team

For insurance purposes, SYL requires membership in U.S. Lacrosse. During the registration process you can obtain or renew your child's US Lacrosse membership. Membership must be valid through the duration of the 2019 season.

Your U.S.Lacrosse Membership also gives you access to tons of information about the sport on their website and you will receive a monthly copy of Lacrosse Magazine.

K-2nd grade  practices 1 day a week and have intra-team games on Sundays.
3rd-6th grade  practices 2 days a week with games on Saturdays or Sundays.  Games are in Scarborough or require travel to local/regional towns.  Coaches will set their practice days of the week as soon as possible and notify all parents.
The Boys Middle School teams  (7th - 8th gradespractice up to 4 days a week, with games Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday.  Games are in Scarborough or require travel to local/regional towns.
Required Equipment:
No Equipment is needed for Grades K through 2.  Equipment is loaned by SYL to the players and must be returned in good shape at the end of the season.  
Players grades 3 through 8 must provide their own equipment as follows:

* Approved lacrosse helmet
* Official sized lacrosse stick
* Gloves
* Arm pads
* Shoulder pads
* Mouthguard
* Athletic supporter with cup


* Protective eyewear/goggles
* Mouthguard
 Official sized lacrosse stick
We highly recommend cleats for all players!
